NBL24
The 2024 NBL season branding is about 'owning the orange'. Every asset utilises the orange sunburst gradient along with a set of bold and clear fonts to communicate information without clutter and distractions.
Next Stars
The Next Stars program exploded in 2023, with touted NBA lottery-pick Alex Sarr and seven other potential NBA draftees signing in the NBL as part of the Next Stars program. The league capitalised on the reach and appeal these young stars bring to the NBL and as such I was fortunate enough to design assets for the Next Stars social media channels.
2024 NBL1
With Mitsubishi Motors coming on board in 2024 as the main sponsor of the NBL1, the goal was to incorporate the Mitsubishi diamond into the league branding. The diamond was used to create directional textures that correspond to each of the five NBL1 conferences (north, west, central south, and east). The final result is a suite of assets that are consistent across the league but allow for differentiation between the conferences using their respective colour palettes.
NBL Oz Gaming
The NBL entered into the eSports scene with NBL Oz Gaming - Australia's first locally-owned NBA 2KLeague side. 2023 marked the inaugural season for the new franchise where they won their way to the 5v5 final but ultimately lost to Golden State Warriors Gaming.
NTFL
From footy cards, to footy records, to social media posts and web articles - the NTFL is where I cut my teeth as a designer. The 2021/22 NTFL season was a highlight, where I produced the previously discontinued NTFL Insight, designing the 16-page booklet from front-to-back every week. Vintage footy cards were a surprise hit on social media, and on Grand Final Day every card was printed and sold to patrons in-venue. The league still uses my redesigned league logo from 2021.
